Capsular Tension Rings

The package has a circled number of 10, 11, or 12 which represents the compressed diameter of the device and is not analogous to the 12 or 13 that we are used to use with the AMO CTR. The max diameter which is a bit hidden on the package is analogous to the 12 or 13 that we were familiar with on the AMO CTR.

Bottom line –The 14C is most like the AMO 13.0 mm CTR which we used most often. The 14 is most like the AMO 12 mm which we used less often. The 14A is huge and should rarely be used.

This refers to which way the ring will come out of the inserter not which eye. The direction only matters if you have a known focal area of zonular weakness and you want the ring to come out toward the weak area.
