- 0.4-0.6 mg/kg/day divided BID
- Measure at Baseline and ongoing:
- Serum BUN, Creatinine, Potassium
- Other tests to consider
- CO2, Sodium
- CBC, Platelets
- Liver function tests
- alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), serum bilirubin, prothrombin time (PT), the international normalized ratio (INR), total protein and albumin.
- If diabetic measure blood/urine glucose
- Renal Ultrasound if suspected obstructive hydronephrosis
